About Barnes & Miner

Together, Amy Barnes and Jerry Miner are Barnes & Miner. Married in 2002, they now share a stage all over the country performing their unique brand of tag team comedy. They began with a theater show, “The Funnymooners,” to rave reviews in Oklahoma and then opened the new Sideshow theater in Tempe, AZ with “Barnes & Miner: Let the Little Things Go,” which opened to sold out crowds and was extended to 5 weeks.

Amy and Jerry relocated from Los Angeles to the Pacific Northwest because grandparents are more valuable than sunshine! They have a thirteen-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son who enjoy traveling with mom and dad.

Amy Barnes started her stand-up career in Seattle, Washington where she quickly gained a reputation for smart accessible comedy. A few years later she picked up a guitar and added original songs to the mix which landed her a plum spot in the New Faces Show at the Montreal Comedy Festival. With rave reviews in hand she appeared on Premium Blend and Comic Remix on Comedy Central followed by a recurring role on the National Lampoon network. As a writer, she has written for Bonnie Hunt, Jack Black, and many more. You can visit Amy's website at www.amyisfunny.com
